An animation that re-creates a pantomimic transformation from the victorian harlequinade. This double image is a roving, inter-active and comic street theatre piece that evokes the commedia dell’ arte and its incorporation into the victorian traditions of pantomime and shape-shifting. It features the characters of pantaloon and grimaldi clown whose original biography was crafted by a young charles dickens. Transformed from the old master and servant, pantaloon is carried on his back by clown in pursuit of the eloping lovers. Merriment and laughter are their companions.
